The Prahova Valley campaign starts from a simple truth: people want to enjoy wine their own way, without turning every choice into an oenology exam. For many Romanians, the șpriț remains one of the most natural, refreshing and familiar ways to enjoy wine.

At this year’s spring edition, the international expert jury awarded a total of 46 Grand Gold, 2,327 Gold, and 1,434 Silver medals. In this competitive context, our wines passed the test with flying colours, reaffirming the quality, expressiveness, and elegance of the wines produced in the Dealu Mare terroir.

Șpriț Puts Out Romanians’ Worries

The “Put Out Your Worries. Have a Șpriț!” campaign turns the small frustrations of summer and the pressure of wine rules into an invitation to relax. Should șpriț only be enjoyed in summer? Should water never be added to wine? Do you need to know grape varieties, terroirs and food pairings to make the right choice? The campaign brings these beliefs into the conversation with humor and responds in the friendly and social Prahova Valley spirit: personal taste is what matters. A good wine can be enjoyed on its own, with sparkling water, soda, over ice or exactly the way you like it.

Romanian Consumer Insights, Told in a Familiar Voice

The campaign communication draws inspiration from familiar situations, strongly held opinions and habits we recognize instantly. From inherited rules about wine to advice shared around the table, every little worry becomes an opportunity to take things more lightly. The soda siphon, the “pfffssst” sound, the summer heat and the chilled glass create the world of a campaign celebrating the freedom to enjoy wine without shame or complications.

A New Visual Expression for Prahova Valley

The campaign also marks the launch of the new Prahova Valley labels, designed to bring the brand closer to today’s consumers. The new look preserves the range’s approachable and familiar spirit through a fresh, contemporary visual identity that is easy to recognize on the shelf. It opens a new chapter for Prahova Valley, built around the same simple pleasure: enjoying a good wine by your own rules.
