The remarkable oenological profile that impressed the jury
Prahova Valley Roșu 2021 is an equal blend of Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc.
Its aromatic profile brings together ripe red fruit, cranberry, cherry and raspberry, complemented by delicate spice notes - clove, vanilla, cinnamon. The palate is balanced, yet juicy, crunchy and energetic, with a pleasing tension throughout the tasting experience.
Assessed in-blind by an international jury, the wine stood out through its expressiveness, freshness and personality, qualities that earned it one of the competition’s most important distinctions.
