Being awarded every year in the world’s largest and most influential international wine competition, Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA), has now become a tradition for the wines from The Iconic Estate portfolio. This year wines from Hyperion, Byzantium, Prahova Valley and La Umbra ranges won bronze medals. 2021 was a record year for the number of wines tasted in DWWA: 18,094 wines, from 56 countries. Now in its 18th year, DWWA is trusted internationally for its rigorous judging process. On this edition, over 15 consecutive days, almost 170 expert wine judges tasted the wines and ranked them based on very strict judging criteria.
