Silver medal for Byzantium Rose and bronze for Prahova Valley Rose at the Global Rosé Masters 2022

This year, The Global Rosé Masters 2022, a leg of the Global Masters, the flagship series of international competitions that reward the most surprising and refined alcoholic beverages, has chosen its winners. Three wines from the Alexandrion Group's portfolio were entered among the rosé wines brought by producers from as far afield as Sicily, Rioja, Provence, and Santorini, with two of them winning the jury's recognition: silver medal for Byzantium Rose 2021 and bronze medal for Prahova Valley Merlot Rose 2021.

All Masters competitions - whether regional or global - are judged blind, and the judging panel is made up exclusively of Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers, and senior buyers.

Only outstanding competing wines receive medals, from bronze to gold, and for exceptional examples, the title of Master is also awarded. This year's jury, which guarantees international recognition for all medals awarded, included names such as Patrick Schmitt, Master of Wine, Jonathan Pedley, Master of Wine, or Patricia Stefanowicz, Master of Wine.
