We are excited to share with you a recent important accomplishment of our Winery: Hyperion Exclusive Chairman's Reserve Cuveé Roumaine 2013 was awarded the Grand Gold Medal & the 'Revelation of Romania' distinction at Concurs Mondial de Bruxelles 2023. The Grand Gold Medal is the most important medal a producer can add to its portfolio, while the country revelation trophy is only offered to the wines that score highest in the category.

Hyperion Exclusive Cuvée Roumaine, captures the essence of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, classic red grapes and Fetească Neagră, one of the most valuable Romanian grape varieties. Firm in structure and rich in texture, it shows a beautiful mixture of ripe red and black fruits flavours, complemented by soft tones of black chocolate, red pepper and finishing with pleasing spicy and eucalypt notes.

With a history of over 30 years, Concours Mondial de Bruxelles is one of the most prestigious international wine competitions that gathers, every year, producers from more than 50 countries. The jury is made of industry experts - oenologists, international buyers, journalists, critics and representatives of organizations in the field – internationally acknowledged for their ability to evaluate wines rigorously.

Our winery is the first one in Romania that won the Grand Gold Medal at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2002, with the wine Prahova Valley Special Reserve Pinot Noir 1999.
